Midwest Prevailing Wage Conference
The 4th Annual CISCO Prevailing Wage Conference, renamed as the "Public Construction Value Conference," was held from May 20-22, 2009 at the Eaglewood Resort & Spa in Itasca, Illinois, and was a huge success.
The annual conference provided the opportunity for compliance organizations, labor and management representatives, attorneys, architects, engineers, legislators and public body officials to exchange ideas and network with each other in order to promote education of prevailing wage and fair contracting legislation at the local, state, and federal levels.
In addition to CISCO, sponsors included: the Illinois AFL-CIO, the Illinois Prevailing Wage Council, Teamsters 731 Labor-Management Cooperation Committee, and Indiana-Illinois-Iowa Foundation for Fair Contracting.
